Dear Mr. Moore,
Thanks for the film. It sure was motivating. Now, I am really voting for Bush.
Sincerely,

So, I finally saw the film and boy was it a waste. To qualify this point I should mention the fact that I took pen and paper to the viewing in order to take some notes. However, there was nothing worth noting and no new arguments were presented.

The film is a typical Moore gathering of bunch of biased interviewees, simple arguments, crazy white people, white trash, and Moore’s sarcastic, if not sardonic, voiceover. It is cheaply shot and full of cheep shots. There is lots of footage wherein Bush makes linguistic errors, but so what? We have heard these before.

If one can get beyond these charming attributes there lies a bag of anti American and anti-Saudi racism. Moore clearly hates the Saudi Royal family, and the Bin-Laden’s, just as much as he hates the Bush’s. He targets both families and finds the Saudi’s guilty of 9/11 without ever mentioning any facts other then the national identity of the hijackers and Osama. Moore conveniently forgets to mention the fact that Osama’s family members have distanced themselves from their crazy son, and changed their names. Moore further fails to reveal that the Bin-Laden flights out of the US after 9/11 were not immediate and were spread out over a period of 7 days, and that 22 out of 26 members were interviewed by the FBI.

Another obvious point worth mentioning is that Moore explicitly states that Iraq had never been responsible for the deaths of Americans. What the fuck is this? Firstly, such narrow reasoning devalues all other lives (Israeli, Kuwaiti, Iranian) by assuming that going to war for other nationalities is not as worthy a cause. Secondly, it completely ignores the deaths suffered by Americans during the Gulf War.

As for the legitimacy of his sources, I found this interesting article online. After waking-up this morning, I had an urge to do more research in order to further debunk Moore. My curiosity led me to research some of the interviewees. These newly revealed facts not only point out their bias, but also reveal a disturbing connection to Iraq and Muslim fanaticism.
----------------------------------------------
Then there are Moore’s Congressional "experts." F911 features extensive interviews with two of the biggest wackos ever elected to Congress, Reps. Jim McDermott and John Conyers, both far-left Democrats. They spout off against everything from the USA Patriot Act to the War on Iraq.

But he fails to tell us that Jim McDermott was on the take from Saddam Hussein. McDermott was one of three Congressmen who went on Saddam’s propaganda tour of Iraq in Fall 2002. The trip was funded by Life for Relief and Development (LRD), a "charity" which laundered money to terrorist group Hamas’ Jordanian operation. LRD is funded in part by Shakir Al-Khafaji, a man who did about $70 million in business with Saddam through his Falcon Trading Group company (based in South Africa). LRD’s Iraqi offices were raided by US troops last week, and the Detroit-area "charity" is suspected of funding uprisings, such as the one in Fallujah. Its officials bragged of doing so at a recent private US fundraiser.

Mr. Alkhafaji, one of two Americans named in Iraqi newspapers as a participant in Saddam’s "Oil for Food" scam, gave Congressman McDermott $5,000 in October 2002 for McDermott’s legal defense fund in a lawsuit against him. He’s not biased about Iraq, right?!

Then there’s Conyers. He’s the ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee. Heaven help us if the Democrats retake the House majority, and he becomes Chairman of the Judiciary Committee. The far-left Conyers never met a terrorist he didn’t like.
Take the June 13 Muslim American Society fundraising dinner for Islamic Relief, a charity with links to the Muslim Brotherhood. Conyers and his wife were the guests of honor. They watched and clapped as the Sanabel Al-Quds "dancing" troop from Milwaukee—featuring boys as young as seven—sang in Arabic of martyrdom and jihad for Allah and Palestine. They didn’t need to understand Arabic, as the young boys used a rifle to simulate killing and pistol-whipping, simulated throat-slittings and beheadings, and dishonored the American flag.

Moore's Film

As stated previously, I will have the displeasure of watching “Fahrenheit 9/11” today. I already am aware of the fact that I shall be extremely pissed off upon leaving the theatre. However, In order to preserve my sanity, not yell at the screen, and preserve the enjoyment of other viewers, I will keep myself occupied by taking notes during the film. I will write down Moore’s contentions and will respond to them on my blog.

Will update by Monday.

More Moore Bashing

On an occasion, or two, I have strongly disagreed with analysis offered by Christopher Hitchens. He was dead wrong when it came to “The Passion,” a film he has yet to see, as well as on Reagan’s legacy.

However, yesterday I was delighted to stumble over his recent anti-Moore article. It is truly a radiant piece that cleverly combines personal attacks and facts, a concept that Moore has yet to discover.

This review will come in handy on Saturday when I will attend a screening of “Fahrenheit 9/11” along with my BF and his liberal friends.

Also, for those who care, I will be deferring my admission to law school for another year. It is odd, but they offered me a full 3 year scholarship for my deferral.

-----------------------------------------------
Indeed, Moore's affected and ostentatious concern for black America is one of the most suspect ingredients of his pitch package. In a recent interview, he yelled that if the hijacked civilians of 9/11 had been black, they would have fought back, unlike the stupid and presumably cowardly white men and women (and children). Never mind for now how many black passengers were on those planes—we happen to know what Moore does not care to mention: that Todd Beamer and a few of his co-passengers, shouting "Let's roll," rammed the hijackers with a trolley, fought them tooth and nail, and helped bring down a United Airlines plane, in Pennsylvania, that was speeding toward either the White House or the Capitol. There are no words for real, impromptu bravery like that, which helped save our republic from worse than actually befell. The Pennsylvania drama also reminds one of the self-evident fact that this war is not fought only "overseas" or in uniform, but is being brought to our cities. Yet Moore is a silly and shady man who does not recognize courage of any sort even when he sees it because he cannot summon it in himself. To him, easy applause, in front of credulous audiences, is everything.

President Reagan

President Ronald Reagan passed away today in Los Angeles. At his side were his wife and children. There will be a candlelight vigil today near his house and I will be certain to attend it.

I do not need to tell you what a man he was. The news broadcasters seem to be doing a good job at that. But as someone who lived for 13 years under Soviet tyranny I have a greater appreciation of his quest towards a communist free world.

Thank you President Reagan for your courage.

The ACLU must be stopped.

It seems that the organization has one too many lawyers with nothing to do. The end result is threats of costly litigation aimed at little cities. This time killing tactic was used recently against Redlands California. You see, they have a state seal with a cross on it. The ACLU, being the anti Christian organization that it is, pressured Redlands to remove the dreaded sign and replace it with something less uncomfortable for the ACLU, like a swastika.

Could the ACLU be a vampire organization incapable of operating in state buildings where a cross is visible? Possible, especially once one considers the fact that they are doing the same thing in Los Angeles; one of their main bases of operation. Yes, our city seal also contains a cross in honor of the catholic missionaries that settled the region. Yet the ACLU maintains that displaying such a vile symbol, as tiny as it may be, is unconstitutional and harmful to certain Angelinos.

The main question that needs to be asked is whether the tiny cross illustrates a preference for a religion, is a historically significant marking, or both.
I say it is both but more of a historical marking because the cross would not have appeared on the seal had it not been for the missionaries.

I could care less whether the seal contains a cross or a penis, even though I would have preferred the latter. But the ACLU is going too far with this new campaign and needs to back off for its own sake. Luckily major players such as Bill O’Reilly, Hannity, and Rantel have made this into a national issue. Their TV and radio shows have created awareness and hatred for the ACLU which is no doubt going to influence the decision whether LA will fight or cave in to fascism.
