Funny Stuff, I think.

Deep Thoughts
Submitted By: Kyle

Can you cry under water?

How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered?

If money doesn't grow on trees, why do banks have branches?

Since bread is square, why is sandwich meat round?

Why do you have to "put your two cents in"... but it's only a "penny for your thoughts"? Where's that extra penny going to?

Once you're in Heaven, do you get stuck wearing the clothes you were buried in for eternity?

Why does a round pizza come in a square box?

What did cured ham actually have?

How is it that we put a man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?

Why is it that people say they "slept like a baby" when babies wake up like every two hours?

If a deaf person has to go to court, is it still called a hearing?

If you drink Pepsi at work in the Coke factory, will they fire you?

Why are you IN a movie, but you're ON TV?

Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

How come we choose from just two people for President and fifty for Miss America?

Why do doctors leave the room while you change? They're going to see you naked anyway.

If a 911 operator has a heart attack, whom does she call?

I just finished the second chapter of our Lady Ann’s new bestseller “Slander.”
It is safe to say that everybody was aware of the fact that she would be defending Joe McCarthy. She was on TV day and night. But I certainly had no clue regarding the grounds upon which such a defense would be based.

Her contention is clear. Joe saved our nation from communism. The red scare was real. The communist had penetrated deep into our government.
The Venona project, which began in 1943 and was partially declassified in 1995, proves this point.

Here are a few names of big shots. These folks were not only communists but were actual Soviet spies.

Alger Hiss – State Department
Harry Dexter White – Assistant Secretary of Treasury and later appointed to the IMF.
Luchlin Currie- Roosevelt’s personal assistant and White House liaison the State
department under both Roosevelt and Truman.
Laurence Duggan-Head of Latin American Desk and the State Department
Frank Coe-US Representative to IMF
Solomon Adler-Senior Treasury Department official
Klause Fuchs-Top atomic scientist
Duncan Lee-Senior aide to head of the OSS (Office of Strategic Services)

There are hundreds more.

The Soviet threat was great. Ann suggests that the Democratic party was blinded by it’s own liberal ideology. By default they sided with the communists and protected Soviet spies. Alger Hiss was made a liberal martyr. McCarthy was demonized. Truman and Roosevelt, after being warned dozens of times, refused to consider the possibility of infiltration and in turn appointed these spies to higher positions.

The ultimate cost cannot be measured.

...three years ago, the leader of al-Qaida in Mesopotamia wrote to his guru Osama Bin Laden, saying that there was a real danger of the electoral process succeeding in Iraq and of "suffocating" the true Islamist cause. The only way of preventing this triumph of the democratic heresy, wrote Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, was to make life so unbearable for the heretical Shiites that they would respond in kind. The ensuing conflict would ruin all the plans of the Crusader-Zionist alliance." By Mr. Hitch"
