Fascinating claim Mark. Got any evidence?

Many seem to forget that in this country, unlike Saddam’s Iraq, people are innocent until proven guilty.

I am personally fond of Mark Kleiman. He is a wonderful professor. Bright, quick, articulate, never dull, and always challenging. His final exam is the best three hour intellectual orgy I have had in a very long time.

Even though, he offers some good critiques in his “Fair and Balanced Weblog,“ he is hasty in many of his conclusions. I have yet to be convinced that Arnold is really a “serial sexual batterer,” which is defined as “the actual intentional striking of someone, with intent to harm.”

If a young immigrant such as myself can restrain his personal biases, withhold premature judgment, and allow the system to work, why can’t a Harvard educated, US born, academic do the same?

Will someone please explain to me, slowly and carefully, why we're supposed to be "civil" about this sort of shamelessness? The Governor of California is a serial sexual batterer whose word isn't worth the spit behind it. That's not partisan ranting; that's just a simple statement of fact.

...three years ago, the leader of al-Qaida in Mesopotamia wrote to his guru Osama Bin Laden, saying that there was a real danger of the electoral process succeeding in Iraq and of "suffocating" the true Islamist cause. The only way of preventing this triumph of the democratic heresy, wrote Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, was to make life so unbearable for the heretical Shiites that they would respond in kind. The ensuing conflict would ruin all the plans of the Crusader-Zionist alliance." By Mr. Hitch"
